3 Women in Construction Podcasts You Should Listen To

Podcasts have risen in popularity, so much so that according to the podcast production and hosting source Blubrry, there are around 2,000 new podcast shows launching every month and over 700,000 currently available for listeners. In honor of Professional Women in Building Week, BIAW has chosen three women-lead podcasts about the home building and construction industry to start listening to on your way to work.

Design Voice
This podcast tells stories of women in the industry who build and design communities and hopes to serve as a source of education and inspiration for more women to join the industry. Each episode “seeks to amplify those voices of women in architecture, engineering and construction professions.”

Remodel Your Life
Camille Finan hosts and shares stories of her 35 years of experience as a carpenter and gives people an inside look of what it is like to be a woman in the trades. This podcast also reaches out to listeners and provides training and scholarships for women entering the trades.

The Constructrr
This is an inspirational podcast that spotlights companies and individual employees who are leaders in inclusivity and empowerment. Host Brittanie Campbell-Turner says, “I don’t have all the answers, but I’m happy to share what I learn.”
