L&I actively enforcing COVID-19 safety protocols

The Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) continues to inspect job sites for COVID-19 safety compliance. They’re focusing specifically on appropriate mask usage, sanitation and vaccination documentation. ROII Safety Services Director Bob White recently worked with L&I to confirm their requirements and help protect ROII participants from violations.

Continue to address COVID-19 safety compliance in your Accident Prevention Program (APP)

While members no longer need site-specific COVID Prevention Plans, you must still address COVID-19 safety in required Accident Prevention Programs. (DOSH Directive 1.70) Please review ROII Safety Services | COVID-19 update- 1/31/22 for further guidance. This update includes specific COVID-19 information required as part of your APP or as a separate safety program when requested by an L&I inspector.
