BIAW honored for highest retention rate in NAHB Grand Awards
May 8, 2023
The National Association of Home Builders recognized BIAW with a 2022 Grand Award for highest retention rate. The award specifically honors BIAW for achieving the highest retention rate among state homebuilding associations with 4,000 to 7,999 members. States in this group include Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Washington.
Highest retention rate reflects hard work, value
“This award reflects the hard work our members and staff put into recruiting new members and helping them feel welcome, appreciated and engaged,” said Raelle Vitali, BIAW Membership Resource Manager. “This encourages them to renew year after year.
“Our high retention rate also signals that members appreciate the tremendous value they receive from their membership,” she said. “This includes access to top-notch governmental affairs and legal resources, health insurance, our ROII retro safety program, workforce, education and more.”
NAHB’s Grand Awards honor local and state HBAs for demonstrating exceptional achievement in membership growth and retention. The top association from each group size in each membership categories receives recognition for numerical increases, percentage increases, annual retention rate and highest increase in Affiliate members.
Striving to serve everyone
“An NAHB Grand Award represents BIAW’s commitment to its members and creating a welcoming community for all,” Judy Dinelle, 2023 NAHB Membership Committee Chairman said. “NAHB recognizes local organizations for their outstanding achievements in member recruitment and retention each year. It’s a great way to celebrate their success as we strive to serve everyone in the home building industry.”
