North Peninsula’s Kevin Russell inducted into BIAW Hall of Fame

The Building Industry Association of Washington (BIAW) proudly inducted North Peninsula’s Kevin Russell of Kevin Russell Construction into the BIAW Hall of Fame Tuesday night.
“Kevin Russell’s passion for the industry, dedication to his community, and commitment to building a brighter future for Washington’s housing industry will inspire generations to come,” said Jay Roberts, BIAW’s 2024 President. “BIAW congratulates Kevin Russell on this well-deserved honor and thanks him for his lasting legacy in the building industry.”
North Peninsula’s Kevin Russell’s legacy of leadership
With over 21 years of service to the housing industry, Russell has played a pivotal role in shaping BIAW at the local, state, and national levels. Since joining the North Peninsula Building Association (NPBA) in 2003, Kevin has exemplified leadership, serving as NPBA president in 2007, 2008, 2015, and 2016, and as a BIAW builder director since 2004.
During his tenure as BIAW president in 2018, Kevin’s contributions were instrumental in driving association growth and success. A champion of sustainable building practices, Kevin worked with other Green builders to launch Built Green of Washington in 2008. He then led efforts to establish the Certified Builder Program in 2016. These initiatives set statewide standards for trusted and sustainable building practices.
A Master Certified Green Professional and BIAW Certified Builder, Russell is dedicated to housing affordability, sustainability, and senior housing solutions.
Over the course of his career, Russell has earned the:
- 2018 BIAW Builder of the Year award;
- Log Home Chairman’s Award; and
- North Peninsula Home Builders’ Builder Appreciation Award multiple times.
