Save Our Stoves

Energy choice is under attack. Urge legislators to oppose HB 1589 in any form. In its current form, the bill: 

• Allows Puget Sound Energy to end natural gas service to existing customers, forcing them to replace their natural gas stoves, furnaces and water heaters with costly electric alternatives.
• Drives up energy costs for renters and homeowners alike. Even PSE admits the “costs outweigh the emission reduction benefit to society.”

Tell the Legislature we can’t afford to shut off natural gas as an energy option.
