Stop Double Taxation on Concrete Pumping

Thanks to BIAW and its members’ efforts, in October we were able to successfully delay WA Department of Revenue’s (DOR) new guidance until April. This new guidance would require concrete pumpers to pay sales tax even if their concrete would be resold as a part of the whole building. DOR has indicated it will implement this rule unless the legislature acts and tells it to continue to collect these taxes when the final building is sold.

Now is your opportunity to advocate at the legislature SB 6317 tomorrow, Tuesday, in Senate Ways & Means at 3:30 p.m. If you have the ability, please come and testify in favor of SB 6317, your attendance is important for the committee to understand how this affects you and your businesses.
