These proposals would:

• Require all new homes and apartments to be all-electric
• Increase energy code credits required for compliance by 2.5 points for all housing units except additions

Support energy choice, not costly new proposals

Roughly 85% of Washington households are priced out of buying new or existing homes. Washington needs roughly 268,000 new homes to meet housing demand.
